What’s up whats up!
This week is about getting creative with your approach. Look at trends in other industries and learn to apply them to your own.
Let’s have some fun!
HOOK:
Type: Different
Example:
Did your inbox look like this on St Patrick’s Day?
Remember this for the next holiday. Chances are, everyone is going to be using a similar emoji.
Make yours different to stand out.

Why it works:
“Different is better than better”
TACTIC:
Educate your customers.
Many brand emails are always selling the product.
Announcing new drops.
Talking about themselves.
Shift your focus to education.
More often than not, a customer doesn’t buy because they have unanswered questions.
It’s not your job to convince them to buy.
It’s your job to educate them so they can decide on their own.
EXAMPLE:
Clean Simple Eats Educational Email: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kRy9SWHG_Dx7TqGp2UKVGCKyv2o-E982/view?usp=drive_link
This email is a great example of educating your customers.
It answers the question “what are good ways I can use this protein powder”.
STRATEGY: Bearfoot
We’ve all seen the rise of online memberships and communities.
Skool.
Circle.
Facebook groups.
But 99% of these groups are from some coach or online course seller.
Bearfoot Shoes is taking this trending model into the e-commerce space.
They have a free Discord channel that they bring current and prospective customers into.
This is brilliant for a few reasons:
It is live, social proof. You see other customers actively talking about how great the product is.
It builds community. You can ask questions and interact with both the employees of the brand & the other customers.
It provides a space for feedback. This feedback can be used for product improvement and messaging.
Increasing the amount of touchpoints you have with a customer means:
The more loyal they become.
The more likely they are to buy.
The more likely they are to refer.
IDEA:
I’m going to build off of the strategy here.
I think Discord is a start. A free, easy option to get people onto an app they likely already have downloaded.
However, there are limitations to this. 3rd party apps are shared with other groups.
So it’s easier for the customers to get distracted or forget about you.
I think the bigger play is creating your brand's custom app.
Give VIP discounts, bonuses, offers, etc.
You can make it free or even play with a paid brand community.
I would use Jedari to host this.
It allows you to fully own your audience and have complete control over the community.
Conclusion
If you have any brands or topics you want me to cover, reply and let me know!
